Residents at Pacific Gate enjoy thoughtful services and amenities not usually found in a residential setting, including a dedicated onsite Concierge team providing residents around-the-clock assistance.

Led by Chef Concierge MiaRose (Mia) Di Stefano, the Pacific Gate concierge team is an essential resource which elevates every resident’s living experience. Residents enjoy an ongoing relationship with Mia, entrusting her to help manage their day-to-day plans.

“At Pacific Gate, our homeowners are so appreciative of the many attentive services and lifestyle-oriented amenities,” Mia says. “We are always available to support residents in every way we can, from simple everyday tasks such as coordinating pet care, dry cleaning and auto detailing to more ambitious conveniences such as party planning, private car or jet transportation, event tickets, trip itineraries and more.”

Mia and her team take great pride in making helping Pacific Gate residents live the exceptional life they have worked hard to attain to the fullest. All members of the concierge staff are experienced in the hospitality industry and well-equipped to assist the residents. Along with a background as a hotel concierge, Mia is also a third generation San Diegan with a true insider’s knowledge of the city.

And as the season swings into high gear, Mia’s tips for “summer in the city” are indispensable. Here are just a few of the insights Pacific Gate residents received this month.

 Cruising the Bay

Residents have exclusive access to Pacific Gate’s private boat share with Pacific Dream, a 45-foot long Cruisers Yacht for excursions on the shimmering San Diego Bay. In addition to catering, extras available on this exquisite vessel include a deckhand to serve beverages and meals. Mia can coordinate the experience, as well as make reservations for waterfront restaurants such as Coasterra. The Captain will dock and wait while cruisers enjoy lunch or dinner.

Take a Jetset Vacation

Mia’s relationship with Charter Flight Group allows Pacific Gate to provide residents with unique access to private jet charter services, no membership required. Residents can simply contact their Chef Concierge and open the door to unlimited travel possibilities while receiving exclusive discounts and benefits.

Unparalleled Everyday Living

Residents at Pacific Gate are able to spend more time doing the things they love and deserve thanks to Mia’s support with even the smallest tasks. From arranging pet services with Precious Petcare to coordinating resident dry-cleaning pickup and delivery through Magic Touch, the elevated lifestyle at Pacific Gate is all in the details.

Other conveniences include a private luxury fleet of cars, porter services, a 24-hour attended lobby, and a luxurious guest suite for visitors – ideal for hosting friends and family for last-minute summer trips.

Just like a hotel concierge, Mia and her team have the ability to obtain exclusive tickets to major attractions, concerts and theme parks. Pacific Gate residents can avoid waiting in long lines and purchase straight-to-the-gate passes from their dedicated Chef Concierge. Here are a few of Mia’s recommendations for enjoying the best of San Diego this season.

San Diego Symphony Bayside Summer Nights

What’s better than live music, an outdoor setting and fireworks on the waterfront? Enjoy a picnic on the grass, share a bottle of wine at reserved tables, or sit in the grandstand and take in the beauty of San Diego Bay at one or more of the concerts put on through August. A San Diego summer tradition and fun for all ages.

Nighttime Zoo at the San Diego Zoo

With warm days and late nights, the “World Famous” San Diego Zoo invites visitors to stay a while! Now until September 2, the zoo is open to all visitors until 9pm. Enjoy live music, fun shows, animal encounters, and delicious items from the limited time “Happy Happens” menu at Albert’s and food stands throughout the zoo.

Dine in Style

Mia can also reserve tables at all San Diego’s restaurants on behalf of Pacific Gate residents, including the city’s newest dining destinations. Soon to be at the top of her request list is Animae, the much-anticipated culinary experience opening this fall in Pacific Gate’s ground floor retail space. Spearheaded by the renowned Puffer Malarkey group of Herb & Wood, Animae is set to have a contemporary Asian menu with striking art-deco interiors by Bells & Whistles and Joe Magnanelli overseeing the kitchen and refined wine menu.

Along with Mission Hills’ Fort Oak and Il Dandy, recently opened in the iconic Mister A’s building, Mia’s featured dining selects also includes a brand new venue perfect for enjoying meals on a warm summer night. Located in the chic new Guild hotel just steps from Pacific Gate lies Downtown’s newest hidden gem and all-patio restaurant, Luca.

Housed in the century-old former YMCA building with an Italian-Renaissance style façade, Luca features the talents of the hotel’s visionary executive chef Justin Vaiciunas, who has mastered a stellar menu with Mediterranean influences. Delectable dishes include scallops with preserved lemon, chive aioli, and brown butter risotto and pork tenderloin, with goat cheese, chocolate mushroom sauce, herb pesto and kataifi.

With the help of Mia and her team, Pacific Gate is redefining luxury lifestyle services in America’s Finest City – providing an array of unique amenities which enable residents to simplify life and revel in the very best that Downtown has to offer year-round. “We honestly feel like we are living in luxury hotel,” says Maureen O. “The good news is that we never have to check out.”
